Although this small rug undoubtedly shows its age, it shows it well. Completely original and untouched, this mid-19th (or earlier?) Caucasian village rug has all the hallmarks of being a pre-commercial weaving, with soft, natural colors, all wool construction and graphics that are evocative of a classical Persian garden. 38” x 52”
